since the reactionaries found my inbox: i am not fucking pro-ai anything.
i think ai art and the way it is being made is shitty and shallow at best. i personally really hate it in fact. that doesnt invalidate the arguments in this post.
trying to say *anything* isnt art is just going to take you down the rabbit hole of "well what is art really?” which is subjective to every individual. all this post is saying is that this one argument- if you can even call it that- doesnt hold weight.
